WHAT IS WORK RIGHT UTAH?
Have you ever become frustrated by the outsized influence given to so-called environmentalist and other leftist groups? The effect they have on our economy, hurting jobs and income for working people?
Those groups are a big reason we pay $4.50 for a gallon of gas, the price of a steak has skyrocketed and that home energy nationwide is growing more expensive and less reliable.
Today’s media just parrots whatever they say, so people who want to hear both sides have nowhere to go.
Work Right Utah wants to tell the other side of the story.

Purpose
Sometimes it is hard for even Utah’s political majority to be heard over this very loud minority; too often we end up caving in to their Woke, progressive agenda.
Look at the Legacy Highway. A handful of well-financed enviro groups sued the state to stop that highway. They failed, but managed to delay construction and cost taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars for no reason.
Since Legacy Highway, it has happened dozens more times. Right now, there is a legal, political and public opinion battle over a proposed aggregate quarry located up Parley’s Canyon.
Our Focus
Industries like mining, farming, ranching, natural gas, oil and coal are essential to Utah’s future. The Tech economy is fine - until you run out of food and fuel. Construction is essential to building for growth and refurbishing failing infrastructure. Rock aggregate is essential to building all of the above.
All these industries – and others – are under attack all over the country by the urban, progressive left, most of whom have never done an honest day’s physical labor in their lives.

Well-funded opponents have produced several deceptive, one-sided videos to oppose the I-80 South quarry.
They expect us to believe that the quarry is an attack on “wilderness” and “outdoor recreation,” neither of which exists in Lower Parley’s. But how are people supposed to know that when they only hear one side of the story?
